UPDATE #5: The U.S. 90 eastbound exit 129 to S. Lewis St. is now OPEN to traffic. Width restrictions will remain in place for motorists.

The US 90 Eastbound Exit 129 to S. Lewis St. will be closed beginning Saturday, December 17 at 7:00 a.m. until Monday, May 1, 2023, weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for the reconstruction of US 90 Eastbound.
A detour will be posted that consists of routing traffic to Exit 130 to LA 83 (Weeks Island Road) and US 90 Frontage Road.
There is already a 10-foot lane restriction on all oversized loads on US 90 East and Westbound from LA 14 (Center Street) to LA 83 (Weeks Island Road).
Emergency Vehicles will not have access through the entire area.
