NOW OPEN: US 90 EB Entrance Ramp at S. Lewis Street, Iberia Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE #5: The U.S. 90 eastbound entrance ramp at S. Lewis Street is now OPEN to traffic. Width restrictions will remain in place for motorists.

The US 90 Eastbound Entrance Ramp at S. Lewis Street will be closed beginning Saturday, December 17 at 7:00 a.m. until Monday, May 1, 2023, weather permitting.
The closure is necessary for the reconstruction of US 90 Eastbound.
A detour will be posted that consists of routing traffic north on S. Lewis Street and south on LA 83. Traffic will be able to access the US 90 Eastbound entrance ramp at LA 83 (Weeks Island Road).
There is already a 10-foot lane restriction on all oversized loads on US 90 East and Westbound from LA 14 (Center Street) to LA 83 (Weeks Island Road).
Emergency Vehicles will not have access through the entire area.
