BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling more than $67 million at its Dec. 10 public bid opening, according to Gov. Bobby Jindal and DOTD Secretary William D. Ankner, Ph.D.

With a bid of $9,486,301.80, James Construction Group LLC, Baton Rouge, was the apparent low bidder on the most expensive job let Dec. 10, a project in East Baton Rouge Parish calling for concrete girder span bridges, approach slabs and related work to build new bridges for the Central Thruway Project.
