I-12 WIDENING

O’NEAL LANE  INTERCHANGE (LA 3245) TO WALKER INTERCHANGE (LA 447)

EAST BATON ROUGE AND LIVINGSTON PARISHES

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) proposes to widen I-12 between the O’Neal Lane interchange in East Baton Rouge Parish to the Walker Interchange in Livingston Parish.  One additional travel lane will be added in each direction within the median.  The bridges over the Amite River and its relief will be replaced with new structures.  All other bridge structures will be widened.  It is anticipated that no additional right-of-way will be required for this project.

The purpose of this Public Information Meeting will be to provide information and to obtain public input on the proposed project.  This Meeting is scheduled for the time, date, and location below:

Representatives of DOTD will be present to receive comments and to answer questions related to this project. All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.

Verbal comments may be recorded at the Meeting.  Written statements can be submitted at the Meeting or may be mailed to the address shown below, postmarked within ten (10) days following the Meeting.
