UPDATE
EMERGENCY LANE CLOSURE: LA 511 (W. 70th St.) at Pines Rd., Caddo Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, the westbound approach of LA 511 (W. 70th Street) at its intersection with Pines Road in Shreveport, Caddo Parish is closed.
The westbound approach will be closed at the intersection of Pines Road.
A sewage pipe located underneath the roadway has failed, undermining the integrity of the roadway. The work has begun on the sewer main. Anticipated work is scheduled to last approximately 3-4 weeks.
DOTD will issue a notice when repairs are complete and the road has been reopened.
Alternate Route: Detour signage in place
