DOTD to hold public hearing to discuss Shreveport district projects

A Public Hearing on the Department of Transportation and Development’s proposed Highway Program for State Fiscal Year 2009-2010 will be held at the Bossier Civic Center, Bodcau Meeting Room, 620 Benton Road, Bossier City, LA, 7111 on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.

The purpose of this Public Hearing is to review highway construction priorities for the fiscal year 2009-2010 for the parishes of Bienville, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, DeSoto, Red River, and Webster, which comprise Highway District 04.

A copy of the Preliminary Program for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 is available for review by interested persons at the Department of Transportation and Development District 04 Administrator’s office, 3365 Industrial Dr., Bossier City, LA, 71112, and also at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development Headquarters Building, 1201 Capitol Access Road, Room 200U, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.

All interested persons are invited to be present at the above time and place for the purpose of becoming fully acquainted with the proposed program and will be afforded an opportunity to express their views.

Oral testimony will be received. However, in order that all persons desiring to make a statement have an equal opportunity to do so, it is requested that every effort be made to complete individual testimony in as short a period of time as possible. Oral testimony may be supplemented by presenting important facts and documentation in writing. Your cooperation and assistance will be appreciated.
