Due to upcoming potentially inclement temperatures, the start date for these repairs has been changed to Friday, October 21st.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), advises the public that on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 and Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, weather permitting, I-49 (Northbound) from will be reduced to one lane intermittently from Milepost 85.2 to Milepost 86.3, for work on State Project H.014673-R1. These Mileposts are located between the I-49 AND US 167 INTERCHANGE (Expressway) and the I-49 AND US 71/165 INTERCHANGE (MacArthur).

Permit/Detour section

No detour will be needed as one lane will be open at all times.
