BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling more than $104 million at its Sept. 24 public bid opening, according to Gov. Bobby Jindal and DOTD Secretary William D. Ankner, Ph.D.

With a bid of $7,624,975.18, Grady Crawford Construction Co. Inc., Baton Rouge, was the apparent low bidder on the most expensive job let Sept. 24, a project in St. Tammany and Tangipahoa parishes calling for fiber optic cable installation, traffic camera installation and related work along I-12, I-55, I-10, U.S. 190 and I-59.
