The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises the public that the work on Bridge #008-009-1442-2 on US 71 over UP Railroad has been extended to Friday, October 7, 2022.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that Bridge # 008-09-1442-2 on US 71 over UP Railroad will be reduced to one lane for bridge maintenance from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday, October 3, 2022 thru Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

This structure is on US 71 over UP Railroad and is located 0.3 miles north of the US 71/I-49 just south of Alexandria.

Permit/Detour Section
No detour is needed due to one lane being open at all times with flagmen.
