UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 28, 2022: ESTHERWOOD PONTOON BRIDGE IS NOW REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.
ESTHERWOOD, La. - DOTD announces that effective immediately La. 91, at the Estherwood Pontoon Bridge, is closed to the traveling public due to a vehicle accident.
The bridge will remain closed until further notice.
The public is encouraged to refrain from traveling to the area and use an alternate route.
