DOTD announces results of May 28 bid letting

BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) considered bids totaling more than $62 million at its May 28 public bid opening, according to Gov. Bobby Jindal and DOTD Secretary William D. Ankner, Ph.D.

With a bid of $18,193,042.58, Coastal Bridge Co. LLC, Baton Rouge, was the apparent low bidder on the most expensive job let May 28, a project in St. James and St. John the Baptist parishes calling for asphalt overlay, pavement patching and related work on I-10 from the Blind River Bridge to the Reserve Canal Bridge.
