UPDATE - REOPENED: Britton Road, Ouachita Parish
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that Britton Road between Hattaway Road and JB Cyrus Road in West Monroe, Ouachita Parish is now open to the public.
This closure was part of a project to replace a bridge over a waterway connected to North Cheniere Creek on Britton Road.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
