NOW OPEN: LA 841 near Richwood in Ouachita Parish

*****UPDATE: LA 841 NEAR RICHWOOD HAS BEEN REOPENED TO TRAFFIC.*****
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that beginning on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, LA 841 will be closed 3.00 miles south of LA 15, near Richwood, in Ouachita Parish. This road will remain closed until approximately Friday, October 7, 2022.
The purpose of this road closure is to allow for the necessary replacement of a cross drain pipe.
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
PERMIT/DETOUR:
The detour route will be LA 841, LA 15, and US 165.

Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
