UPDATE - REOPENED: Tremont Rest Area, I-20 westbound, Lincoln Parish
(UPDATE 9/28/2022): Repairs are complete and the Tremont Rest area on I-20 westbound in Lincoln Parish has been REOPENED. We appreciate your patience.

(Original notification 9/14/2022):
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that, effective immediately, the Tremont Rest Area located on I-20 westbound near Choudrant in Lincoln Parish is closed until further notice. The eastbound rest area remains open.
This closure is due to mechanical issues in the waste treatment plant.
DOTD crews are working on securing parts and beginning repairs as soon as possible.
DOTD will issue a notification when the rest area has been reopened. We apologize for the inconvenience.
