Weekend closure scheduled on I-10 eastbound to remove overhead sign truss
METAIRIE, La. — This Saturday night, I-10 eastbound at the Causeway Blvd/ Bonnabel Blvd exit will be closed as the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development removes an overhead sign truss near the I-10/ I-610 split.
Beginning at 11:00 p.m., traffic will be rerouted to Exit 228 (Causeway Blvd/ Bonnabel Blvd) to US 61 south (Airline Drive). I-10 East is expected to remain closed until 10:00 Sunday morning.
The overhead sign truss spans across the interstate and supports directional and safety signs.
All work is weather permitting.
