The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) announces that beginning Tuesday, July 19, single lanes will be closed in 2-hour increments along various intersections in Lafayette Parish to perform signal upgrades.
The routes and times of closure are as follows:
Tuesday, July 19
- South College Road @ Pinhook Road from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- University Avenue @ Lee Avenue from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 20
- University Avenue @ Congress Street from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- North Bertrand Drive @ North College/Reinhardt from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Thursday, July 21
- Congress Street @ Cajundome Blvd. from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- Johnston Street @ Vital Street/Doucet Road from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Intermittent lane closures will be necessary to perform the work in each area; therefore, drivers should expect some delays.
The project is estimated for completion in March 2023.
