LANE CLOSURE: LA 2 (Miller’s Bluff) bridge over Red River, Bossier Parish


The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises the public that on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, one lane of the LA 2 (Miller’s Bluff) bridge over the Red River in Bossier Parish will be closed for routine bridge maintenance.

This lane closure is scheduled to take place from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This bridge is located approximately 3.3 miles east of US 71.

Alternate Route: This lane closure will allow vehicles 10 feet wide or smaller to pass through the inspection zone. Larger vehicles must detour using I-49 to LA 1 to LA 3094 to I-20 to US 371 (Dixie Inn) to LA 2.

Permits/Restrictions: Lane width restrictions of 10 feet wide or smaller.

This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
