UPDATE #2: This closure has been extended until Friday, October 21 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
UPDATE #1: This closure has been extended until Friday, September 30 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
LA 87 between LA 671 and LA 670 in Iberia and St. Mary Parishes will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, July 5 at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 5, weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to replace cross drains in that section of the road.
The road will be open to local traffic only. Emergency vehicles will not have access through the entire area.
Detour route will consist of LA 671, LA 182, and LA 670.
