LA 23 lane update

UPDATE: The traffic shift is extended through July 1, 2022.

BELLE CHASSE, La. — Beginning Thursday, June 8, 2022 through Tuesday, June 14, 2022, traffic traveling northbound and southbound on LA 23 will be shifted to the newly constructed detour route between the Algiers Outfall Canal Bridge and X Street.
The work is in preparation for the new Belle Chasse Bridge. All work is weather permitting.
