    This delay is due to the complexity in the forming and erecting of this truss structure, additionally there has been delays associated with recent weather events.

ORIGINAL: 5/20/2022 The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 9:00 am, weather permitting, I-49 Southbound @ US 165 Exit 86 Ramp will close for an overhead truss replacement. The ramp closure is expected to last 6 weeks.
    Detour: Detour will be as follows: Traffic on I-49 South bound needing to take Exit 86 onto US 165 will need to exit at LA 498, Exit 90. Traffic will then turn right onto LA 498, travel west to LA 1, turn left on LA 1, and travel south to US 165.
