DOTD announces closure of U.S. 90 at Bayou Bridge in Jefferson Davis Parish for bridge replacement project

JEFFERSON DAVIS PARISH, La. - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), announced today that beginning Tuesday, May 17, U.S. 90 at Bayou Bridge will be CLOSED TO ALL TRAFFIC to allow crews to replace the bridge.

Located approximately 1.6 miles west of the U.S. 90/La. 26 intersection in Jennings, this structure will remain closed until mid-October 2022.

Detour Section
US 90 Eastbound Traffic will be detoured to LA 395 Northbound to I-10 Eastbound to LA 26 Southbound to US 90.
US 90 Westbound Traffic will be detoured to LA 26 Northbound to I-10 Westbound to LA 395 Southbound to US 90.
