***UPDATE***Right Lane Closure on US 171 Northbound - Calcasieu Parish

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists of a right lane closure on US 171 Northbound over the Calcasieu River (between MP 4.0 – 5.1) beginning Saturday, May 7 and ending on Friday, May 13. This closure is scheduled as follows:

Daytime lane closures:

Right lane closure on US 171 Northbound (between MP 4.0 – 5.1) on Saturday, May 7 from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Nighttime lane closures:

Right lane closure on US 171 Northbound (between MP 4.0 – 5.1) beginning on Sunday, May 8 and ending on Friday, May 13 from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am each day.

These closures are necessary for bridge overlay. All work is weather permitting.
