Please be advised that the following Road Design chapters have been updated and published on the DOTD Road Design Section website: http://wwwsp.dotd.la.gov/Inside_LaDOTD/Divisions/Engineering/Road_Design/Pages/Road-Design-Manual.aspx
Road Design Manual Updates summary:
Chapter 4.5.6 addition of Traffic Control Plan (TCP) and Transportation Management Plan (TMP) language added.
Chapter 8.2.17 changed language from “For all projects” to “For most projects”
Chapter 8.2.18 added language for TCP and TMP
This email notification is distributed to all DOTD in-house designers, consultant firms on the DOTD solicitation list, and the people on the cc list. If you are listed as the Principle-In-Charge for a consultant firm, please inform all your designers of this change to the Road Design Manual.
