LA 75 Bayou Sorrel Bridge open for traffic

Iberville Parish- The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Bayou Sorrel Bridge on LA 75 in Iberville Parish has been repaired and is now open for vehicular traffic following a bridge collision on Friday afternoon. DOTD crews worked throughout the weekend to fabricate the necessary parts in order to make permanent repairs and open as quickly as possible.
The bridge will be closed for vehicular traffic beginning at 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. in order to allow marine traffic to pass. A five ton weight limit remains in effect.
