o The registration deadline is Friday, March 11, 2022. After this date, a seat cannot be guaranteed in the course. Individuals are responsible for registering themselves for this course.

Please DO NOT attempt to register for this course through the National Highway Institute website (unless you are a FHWA employee) or through the LEO System (LEO System applies to Louisiana DOTD employees only.)

COURSE DAYS, DATES, AND TIMES:
This course is being delivered with live in-person instructors at the TTEC Facility. No virtual delivery of this training is being offered. Individuals must attend all four (4) days of the course and receive a passing score on the end of course assessment to receive a certificate of participation/certification and course credit. Course times are subject to change.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
This course has been developed for the needs of practicing public and private sector structural engineers with one to ten years of experience. The primary audience is agency and consultant structural designers. Individuals attending this course should have a minimum BSCE degree and working knowledge of the current AASHTO LRFD and should have relevant design experience using this specification on at least one bridge superstructure.

MANDATORY PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS (PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY)

Any individual who wishes or is required to take National Highway Institute (NHI) Course No. 130081 - LRFD for Highway Superstructures MUST enroll and COMPLETE the three (3) hour web-based training (WBT) National Highway Institute (NHI) Course No. 130081P - General Superstructure Design Considerations. Comprehension of many of the concepts covered in this WBT is important to the successful completion of the instructor-led training.

Proof of the WBT course completion certificate, bearing your name, must be provided TO THIS OFFICE. Individuals are responsible for providing a copy of the course completion certificate to this office. LTRC does not have access to any training taken/completed through the National Highway Institute (NHI) website.

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete the WBT course AND the on-line assessment before a certificate of completion will be made available for printing.

The web-based prerequisite is offered AT NO COST. Flash Player through Adobe Connect is the preferred virtual training platform used by the National Highway Institute. In preparation for your participation in the web-based prerequisite requirements, a test to make sure the most updated version of Flash Player through Adobe Connect is REQUIRED. The attached document provides instructions on enrolling in a web-based training course (section A of the attachment) in addition to instructions on completing the Flash Player through Adobe Connect test (section B of the attachment.)
