**Dixie Church & Setliff Road Bridges;

Concrete Slab Span Bridge**

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that beginning Monday, January 24, 2022 at 7:00 a.m., weather permitting, Dixie Church Road (Bridge) work will begin. Thru traffic will continue to use the side runaround while construction work is being completed. Construction work will start approximately 1/2 mile (at bridge) from the intersection of LA 465 and Dixie Church Road. This work is needed to replace an existing Wooden Bridge with a new Concrete Slab Span Bridge. This is an off system bridge project for the Rapides Parish Highway Department that was awarded to Merrick Construction, LLC in the amount of $1,098,063.50 This work is expected to last approximately 3 months.

There are no detours at this time.
