Control Section 840-37**The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 at 7:00 am, weather permitting, I-49 Southbound at LA 3250 (Sugarhouse Road) will have daytime alternating lane closures. The closures are needed to complete painting of the repaired Sugarhouse overpass over I-49 that was damaged. These lane closures are expected to last until Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at 6:00 P.M.

There are no detours at this time associated with the lane closures.
There will be a lane width restriction of 11 feet for the lane closures.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, (DOTD), advises the public that beginning Monday, January 3, 2022 at 7:00 am, weather permitting, I-49 Southbound at LA 3250 (Sugarhouse Road) will have alternating lane closures. Starting Monday, January 3, 2022 and again on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, the right lane will be closed during the day. On Tuesday, January 4, 2022 and again on Thursday, January 6, 2022, the left lane will be closed during the day. This closure is needed to start repairs on the Sugarhouse overpass over I-49 that was damaged. These lane closures are expected to last a total of four (4) days.
