DOTD announces the start of a Road Construction Project on LA 13 in Vermilion Parish, SPN H.012099

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Wednesday, December 15, road construction will begin on a $2,714,191 project on LA 13 in Vermilion and Acadia Parishes. The project will begin 2.7 miles north of LA 14 in Vermilion Parish and continue until 0.2 miles north of the Acadia Parish line. The work consists of milling, patching, overlay, and other related work.
The work is estimated to take place on Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot width restriction for the duration of this project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
The project is estimated for completion in the spring of 2022.
