Lane closures from Tuesday, May 3 to Thursday May 5, on Causeway Blvd. and Veterans Blvd. in Metairie for bridge construction.
Beginning Tuesday night, May 3, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m., the Southbound Causeway on-ramp from Veterans will be closed.
Detours:
Eastbound Veterans – continue east on Veterans, turn left onto Northbound Causeway, make a U-turn north of 17th street onto Southbound Causeway.
Westbound Veterans – turn right onto Northbound Causeway, make a U-turn north of 17th street onto Southbound Causeway.
Access to the North Service Road via 26th street will remain open.
On Wednesday night, May 4, and Thursday night, May 5, 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. ground level Southbound Causeway will be completely closed north of Veterans and Westbound Veterans Blvd. will be completely closed.
Detours:
Southbound Causeway – turn right on 17th street, then left on Severn to Veterans.
Westbound Veterans - turn right onto Northbound Causeway, make a U-turn north of 17th street, then turn right onto 17th street, then left on Severn to Veterans.
There are no vehicle restrictions.
