LA 113 at Jim Burney Bridge in Beauregard Parish anticipated reopening July 25, 2022

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises the public that the LA 113 Jim Burney Bridge, just north of its intersection with LA 1147, is expected to reopen to traffic at the end of the day on Monday, July 25, 2022.

The bridge has been closed for reconstruction since November 10, 2021.

Once the bridge is reopened to traffic, some on-site work will remain and daytime lane closures are anticipated over the next several weeks.

This structure is located 0.3 miles north of the LA 113/LA 1147 intersection north of Dry Creek, LA.

Detour
Until the bridge is reopened, detours will remain in effect.
LA 113 Northbound traffic will be detoured to LA 1147 Northbound to LA 26 Eastbound to LA 113.
LA 113 Southbound traffic will be detoured to LA 26 Westbound to LA 1147 Southbound to LA 113.
