UPDATE: LA 182 (N. University Avenue) from W. Pont Des Mouton Road to LA 98 (W. Gloria Switch Rd.), Lafayette Parish, Road Closure

UPDATE: LA 182 (N. University Ave.) from W. Pont Des Mouton Road to LA 98 (W. Gloria Switch Road) will remain closed to vehicular traffic until Tuesday, November 23 at 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure extension is necessary due to unforeseen site conditions which caused delays to the installation of the new drainage structure.
LA 182 (N. University Avenue) from W. Pont Des Mouton Road to LA 98 (W. Gloria Switch Road) in Lafayette Parish will be closed to vehicular traffic beginning Monday, November 8 at 6:00 a.m. until Sunday, November 21 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is necessary to install new drainage structures across the roadway.
The detour for northbound traffic will be I-10 east to I-49 (NW Evangeline Throughway), north to LA 98 (W. Gloria Switch Road) and west to LA 182.
The detour for southbound traffic will be LA 98 (W. Gloria Switch Road) east to I-49 (NW Evangeline Throughway), south to I-10 and west to LA 182.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
