US 90 Interchange at LA 85

Project Update

Current Work:

The contractor has made great progress in 2011 on the US 90 Design Build project.  All mainline and new ramp paving is completed on the east side of LA 85.  Approximately, 95% of the paving on the west side of LA 85 was completed at the end of March.

Traffic will be diverted to the new paving in April.  This will allow us to begin removing the diversion and complete the frontage roads. 

Bridge crews have one deck left to pour.  While one crew works the west side of the bridge, another crew works the east side.  Crews should complete all deck pours this week.
