*UPDATE* Belle Chasse Tunnel Cleaning Notice Time Change
New Cleaning Date 11-10-21
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the rescheduling of the October 27, 2021 Belle Chasse Tunnel cleaning to November 10, 2021. The southbound lanes of LA 23 through the Belle Chasse Tunnel will be closed on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 7 p.m. until Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 5 a.m. The closure is necessary to allow crews to clean the tunnel. All work is weather permitting. As an alternate route, motorists can take the Belle Chasse Bridge (LA 23) in either direction.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to clean the tunnel. All work is weather permitting.
As an alternate route, motorists can take the Belle Chasse Bridge (LA 23) in either direction.
