Construction of the new LA 835 bridge over the Boeuf River in Morehouse and West Carroll Parishes is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 4, 2021. The new bridge and roadway will be constructed to the north side of the existing bridge. The existing bridge and both lanes of LA 835 will remain open to traffic during construction. Please exercise caution while driving through the work zone as construction crews will be working next to the roadway. Construction work is anticipated to be complete by Friday, November 4, 2022.
Detours/Permits:
Detours: Formal detour routes are not required at this time. LA 835 will be open to traffic.
Restrictions: There are no restrictions to traffic at this time.
