An emergency left lane closure on I-55 Southbound at Mile Marker 7 (near the Ruddock Exit) will be in effect beginning Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 3PM until further notice for emergency bridge repair.
PERMIT INFORMATION:
All I-55 Southbound commercial trucks are to take the Ruddock Exit (Exit 7).
DETOUR INFORMATION:
The following is an alternate route to avoid the lane closure:
Motorists traveling I-55 Southbound to I-10 east may take the Manchac Exit (Exit 15), then south on the I-55 Frontage Rd. to US 51, then south to US 61 (Airline Highway), then east to LA 3152, then north to re-intersect I-10.
