LA 1 (ASCENSION PARISH) – There will be a road closure on LA 1 under the railroad crossing overpass. The closure will take
place Monday, October 4, 2021 through Friday, October 8, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM daily.
This road closure is needed to for crews to make repairs to the railroad trestle due to the impact from an over-height load.
No thru traffic will be allowed during this closure.
Commuters may detour LA 3089 to LA 308 then Rondinaud Ln. to LA 1.

LA 1 (ASCENSION PARISH) – An emergency road closure will take place on LA 1 under the Union Pacific railroad crossing overpass from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021.
This emergency road closure is needed to repair the railroad overpass, damaged due to an over-height load.
No thru traffic will be allowed during this closure.
