***UPDATE***Cameron Ferry is OPEN - Cameron Parish

Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that the Cameron Ferry services have resumed.

Previous message:

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces the Cameron Ferry is temporarily out of service today, Wednesday, September, 8, 2021, until further notice.

The ferry is out of service for mechanical repairs.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through construction sites and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
