The LA 23 SB tunnel floodgates are now open.

The LA 23 floodgates at the Intracostal Waterway are closed until further notice. These floodgates are located on the northern and southern ends of the LA 23 Tunnel under the Intracostal Waterway. CPRA codes: ACW08 and ACE03

With the threat of severe weather and heavy rainfall that may impact areas of the state, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) reminds motorists to take extra precautions should traveling be necessary.
