There will be alternating lane closures on U.S. 190 eastbound at the Amite River Bridge on Tuesday, Jan. 25 and Wednesday, Jan. 26 from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day while crews work on the new roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11-feet-wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads are still under permit restrictions. Motorists may use I-12 as an alternate route.
