Current work:
Crews are now driving foundation poles for the south pier.  The crews are currently preparing the embankment for the road’s foundation.  Once these tasks are complete, the layers of asphalt will be placed.

Completed work:
Crews have removed the entire old bridge structure. The new drainage work located along La. 3087 (Prospect Street) and La. 24 (Main Street) is complete. The foundation piles for the north pier are completed. Around 27,000 cubic yards of embankment have been placed on La. 24 and La. 3087 to elevate the new roadway to meet the south bridge.
