The inside lane of U.S. 190 westbound at the Amite River Bridge will be closed from Monday, Nov. 8, through Friday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day while crews install framework for the new eastbound bridge deck.

This closure will allow vehicles up to 11 feet wide to pass through the construction zone. The road is open for regular traffic but oversize vehicles and loads are still under permit restrictions. Motorists may use I-12 as an alternate route.
