DOTD announces start of construction project on LA 35 in Vermilion Parish

Vermilion Parish, LA - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) announces that beginning Monday, May 17, road construction will begin on a $1.89 million project on LA 35 in Vermilion Parish. The project will begin at the intersection at LA 335 and continue until the intersection at LA 14.
The work consists of milling, patching, overlay, drainage, and other related work.
The work is estimated to take place on Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The road will be open to regular traffic with a 14-foot width restriction for the duration of this project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
The project is estimated for completion in early fall of 2021.
