The new LaGov Financial System is coming soon to DOTD. The go live date is November 15, 2010. The transition from the old systems to the new LaGov System will involve a cutover period and data conversion from DOTD legacy systems.

From October 1, 2010 through October 29, 2010 all DOTD contractors and real estate customers paid with federal funding will receive paper checks. No electronic fund transfers (EFT) will be processed. DOTD will resume EFT payments on November 15, 2010. All other vendor payments will continue to be paid as they are now.

From November 1, 2010 through November 12, 2010, DOTD will close the legacy systems and convert data to the new LaGov System. During this time no DOTD payments will be made to any vendor, contractor, real estate customer or employee (this excludes employee pay checks).

On November 15, 2010, all payments will resume. Checks will be produced from the state system at the Division of Administration and be distributed from there also.
