Work is progressing as scheduled. Crews have recently completed the sheet pile wall on the south side of Bayou Terrebonne.  This wall will provide support along the bayou side for the roadway embankment, which the contractor should begin placing this month.  Also on the south side, the contractor has constructed a temporary sheet pile cofferdam around the location of the south pier so crews can begin preparation for pile driving for the south pier.  Pile-driving activity continues on the north pier.
