EXTENDED!!!! I-10 WB Exit Ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound), Lafayette Parish, Ramp Closure

UPDATE: I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting:
- Friday, April 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Saturday, April 24 at 6:00 a.m. CANCELLED
- Saturday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. until Sunday, April 25 at 6:00 a.m. CANCELLED
- Sunday, April 25 at 8:00 p.m. until Monday, April 26 at 6:00 a.m.
- Monday, April 26 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 27 at 6:00 a.m.
- Tuesday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 28 at 6:00 a.m.
The I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound) will be closed on the following nights, weather permitting:
- Friday, April 23 at 8:00 p.m. until Saturday, April 24 at 6:00 a.m.
- Saturday, April 24 at 8:00 p.m. until Sunday, April 25 at 6:00 a.m.
These closures are necessary to allow crews to stripe the new ramp alignment.
The detour for traffic will be to utilize the interchange clover leaf ramps by taking Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp), and I-49 Northbound via Exit 103B.
Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.
The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).
The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
