The I-10 westbound entrance ramp at Exit 109 (LA 328 - Breaux Bridge) will be closed on Tuesday, April 20 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 21 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting:

This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway.

The detour for westbound traffic is I-10 Eastbound via LA 328, continue on I-10 Eastbound to Exit 115 (LA 347 - Henderson), and LA 347 North to I-10 Westbound.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
