Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 8:50:31 AM
UPDATE: Due to inclement weather, this closure has been extended to Tuesday, April 20 at 8:00 p.m. until Wednesday, April 21 at 6:00 a.m. Thank you for your patience.

The I-10 westbound exit ramp at Exit 103B (I-49 Northbound) will be closed on Monday, April 19 at 8:00 p.m. until Tuesday, April 20 at 6:00 a.m., weather permitting:

This closure is necessary to allow crews to perform asphalt operations on the roadway.

The detour for traffic will be to utilize the interchange clover leaf ramps by taking Exit 103A (US 167 South exit ramp), Exit 1A (I-10 Eastbound entrance ramp), and I-49 Northbound via Exit 103B.

Emergency vehicles will not have access to the area.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in summer 2021.
