UPDATE - REOPENED: LA 111 just east of US 171 in Anacoco, Vernon Parish
UPDATE (3/5/2021): This repair work is complete and LA 111 has been REOPENED.

Original notification:
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development advises motorists that LA 111, approximately 0.10 mile east of US 171 in Anacoco, Vernon Parish, is closed, effective immediately, until further notice.
This closure is necessary due to a damaged water main under the roadway. The Village of Anacoco will be performing repairs to the water main as soon as possible.
DOTD will advise when those repairs are complete and the roadway has been reopened.
Alternate route:
- Westbound traffic on LA 111 will proceed to LA 117 southbound to LA 28 westbound to US 171 northbound.
- Eastbound traffic on LA 111 will proceed to US 171 southbound to LA 28 eastbound to LA 117 northbound to LA 111.
Restrictions/Permits: N/A
This work will be performed WEATHER PERMITTING.
