The outside lanes of LA 176 (Moss Street), northbound & southbound, from Van Buren Drive to East Pont Des Mouton will be closed as follows, weather permitting:

• Monday, March 1 at 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday, March 2 at 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday, March 3 at 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday, March 4, at 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
• Friday, March 5, at 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

These closures are necessary to install components for the bridge underpass lighting.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with these lane closures.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in May 2021.
