I-10 EB & WB from Exit 109 (LA 328 - Breaux Bridge) to Exit 103 (I-49), Lafayette/St. Martin Parish, Lane Closures
Friday, February 19, 2021 at 4:07:27 PM
There will be nightly lane closures from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. on both I-10 eastbound & westbound from Exit 103 (I-49) to Exit 109 (LA 328 - Breaux Bridge) beginning Sunday, February 21 until Tuesday, March 2.

These closures are necessary to allow crews to prepare the roadway for asphalt operations.

There will be no vehicle width restrictions associated with this lane closure.

Emergency vehicles will have access to the area but may encounter delays. No detour route is necessary.

The $124.7 million I-10 widening project will involve widening a 7.11-mile section from I-49 to Breaux Bridge (State Project Number H.003003). The project will include pavement replacement within the existing lanes and the construction of one additional lane in each direction along I-10 from I-49 to LA 328 (Breaux Bridge).

The project began in May 2017 and is estimated for completion in May 2021.
